(Yep, that’s us. We’re actually 6 people, but I had to take the photo. HAH!)
We finally did it; we finally had a proper team meeting. We tried to do it over Whiskey and burgers, but that only resulted in a pain-staking session of Dr. Lucky putting a stalemate damper on an otherwise very enjoyable evening. We tried scheduling after-school meet-ups, but game design students are fleeting beings. But today we did it, and I’m feeling good! (thought you were gonna get Michael BublĂ© didn’t you?)
So after a good pow-wow, we’ve made the following discoveries:
- With the exception of meteor strikes and zombie apocalypse (of which we’ll surely have a fiery debate about survival strategies later) the plan is to make a 3D game, powered by either Unity 3D or Unreal Development Kit.
- We are all keen on the idea of making a horror game, with minimal to no shooting, probably set in a “haunted house” style setting.
- Lists always look better with 3 or more items in them.
Unfortunately this meeting took place at school, so our destined sound designer Nate was unable to attend. Rumor has it there’s another get-together at Truong’s house next Saturday though!
